Writing Composition (Spring; 6-8th)

Service Description

This is part two of a two section course. The Spring semester of this class is a process-based writing class that focuses on expanding students’ skills in academic writing, reading, and critical thinking. Writing is a skill that can be practiced and improved. In this course, students will further develop their analytical writing skills that they began cultivating in Section I. Students engage with writing processes, literacies, and genres by reading and writing about research and arguments dealing with all aspects of writing. Students also craft arguments of their own based on their research on the art and craft of writing.

Cancellation Policy

For camps, clients may cancel up to ONE WEEK before camp begins and receive a half refund. For tutoring sessions, clients may cancel up to ONE DAY before their appointment to receive a half refund. Cancellations made the day of tutoring appointments will not receive a refund. Cancelation of any course must be made in writing via email to pageturnersorg@gmail.com. If cancelation occurs on or before the 2nd class session of the month, tuition will be waived for that month. Should cancelation occur after the 2nd class session of the month, tuition for that month will still be applied. Thank you for your understanding.
