Fairytale Camp

Fairytale Camp includes five days of reading classic Grimms' & Andersen Fairytales that have been passed down from generation to generation. In this camp, we will read stories like "Hansel & Gretel", "The Sleeping Beauty", "Jack & the Beanstalk", and "Rumplestiltskin". As we read, we will learn about where these stories come from, who wrote them, and why they are still so special today. Not only will we read and play games, but we will also work on writing our own fairytale by the end of the week.

Famous Authors: Literature Camp

Famous Authors camp spends time reading the works of the world's most famous literary minds: Emily Dickinson, Edgar Allen Poe, Maya Angelou, William Shakespeare, Jane Austen...to name a few! We will not only enjoy reading their poems and stories, discussing the characters and plot lines that stand the test of time, but also learn about the author's personal lives, their writing habits, and how their creativity changed literature forever. The goal for this camp is to invite students into the lives of these authors on a more personal level, giving more depth and understanding to their literature overall.
