Writing Composition (Fall; 9-12th)

Service Description

This is part one of a two part course. The fall semester class is a process-based writing class that focuses on expanding students’ skills in academic writing, reading, and critical thinking. Writing is a skill that can be practiced and improved. In this course, upperclassmen will further develop their analytical and creative writing skills. Students engage with writing processes, literacies, and genres by reading and writing about research and arguments dealing with all aspects of writing. Students also craft arguments of their own based on their research on the art and craft of writing. Narrative essays, research essays, informative writing, as well as poetry and short fiction will be practiced in this course.

Cancellation Policy

For camps, clients may cancel up to ONE WEEK before camp begins and receive a half refund. For tutoring sessions, clients may cancel up to ONE DAY before their appointment to receive a half refund. Cancellations made the day of tutoring appointments will not receive a refund. Cancelation of any course must be made in writing via email to pageturnersorg@gmail.com. If cancelation occurs on or before the 2nd class session of the month, tuition will be waived for that month. Should cancelation occur after the 2nd class session of the month, tuition for that month will still be applied. Thank you for your understanding.
